April the Dog needs a home
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
April is ready to be your family dog. She is sturdy and strong, so she could be a perfect hiking companion or a wonderful dog to play with in your backyard. She could be ideal for an individual or family who loves the outdoors and exploring Mom Nature, right there by your side. She is also a couch potato and is laid back. April walks well on a leash. April seems a little too interested in cats and little critters, so she will require a physical fence to keep her and the other critters safe.
April is selective about her doggie friends. In the past, she seems to have done better with calm, male dogs.
April cannot be placed in a home with cats.
