Boyo the Dog needs a home
Boyo is an adorable tan and white Boxer mix male approximately 2 yrs. old.
Boyo was found by a good Samaritan who contacted NBCR for help in finding this sweet boy a home. He is fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative & on preventative, and crate trained. He did not have a microchip.
Boyo is a sweet, friendly, energetic boy who is great with kids, cats, and other dogs! He is smart and learns quickly. It only took a couple of feedings for him to learn to wait until I put his food down and give him the okay to eat. He loves to go for car rides and will just hang out in the back of your SUV with the hatch open for hours if you let him. He can be vocal when he sees other dogs, but has shown no aggression toward his foster brothers & sisters. He does need some additional leash training as he likes to take the lead on walks, but he responds well to positive re-enforcement and treats. He is good with children, but because of his size and his energetic and bouncy nature, he may be a bit much for small children. Boyo is a magnificent dog who will make some lucky person or family a wonderful lifelong companion!
Boyo is currently in a foster home and his adoption fee is $150. If you would like to meet him, he will be at our adoption center every Saturday from 1 - 4.
