Monte the Dog needs a home
Meet Monte!
Monte is a handsome Basset hound/ Pit bull mix. He came to our rescue after being abandoned on a dirt road. Covered in fleas, ticks and starving, a warm bath and bowl of food quickly earned his love. Monte is playful and affectionate, and enjoys simply being in the company of his humans. He is content to lay next to you on the couch, or sit at your feet while you cook or do dishes. Monte is leash trained, house trained and crate trained, and is working on his manners of not jumping up to greet you when excited. With proper introductions, he gets along well with other dogs and people; but is a little too interested in cats, so he would do best to be in a home without them.
Monte is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines. He is heartworm positive and is presently being treated, however this does not affect him in any way from being your perfect companion. If you have any questions please contact Kara Parritt at [email protected].
