Gordie the Dog needs a home
Our other BIG LUG in the litter is Gordie.
Gordie is one of the puppies in our Hee Haw litter. Mama, Minnie Pearl, had her litter of nine shepherd mix puppies under a neighbor's trailer home. This turned out to be a good thing, when that home owner agreed that the puppies needed to be rescued, not left to try to survive in the dirt. Mom was emaciated and could not raise the litter without help.
This is where Take Me Home Rescue Volunteers jumped in to help feed and care for the puppies along side Minnie Pearl.
Gordie is a sweet and loving boy who is loving his time in a home. He does not have a dominant personality . . . . he leaves that to his sister. But, he is loving the time in his foster home being snuggled by such a wonderful family.
He is going to make a fabulous member of the family.
For our puppies, we require someone home more than not. Whether it is a stay at home parent or a work from home parent . . . these babies need lots of love and training throughout the day. We are looking for kids who are old enough to understand puppy behavior and are experienced in handling a small animal carefully and respectfully.
