Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Keyes the Cat needs a home
Application, References and Adoption Fee Required
Please visit us at www.KittyColony.org for more information about our rescue.
Keyes is fostered in Lancaster PA. He is neutered, vaccinated, and has been regularly treated with flea and worm preventatives.
Keyes is a sweet, calm, shy boy. He likes his people and will come rub on your legs and chirp at you for attention. He LOVES his kitty foster siblings and needs to be adopted into a home with another kitty. He can be adopted with Roman, or Sabrina, or by a family with a cat already in the home.
Keyes is a follower who needs a cat buddy to help him be comfortable.
Keyes has lived in 4 homes in his lifetime, and he is only 5 years old! He doesn't know what it feels like to have a forever family, and he will take time to adjust. Change is hard for Keyes, and we would love to find him a forever home where he doesn't ever have to worry about moving again. He can be wary of strangers and will need someone to be patient with him to earn his trust. He can usually be won over with some canned food, treats, or a teaser toy.
Keyes is wonderful with other cats and good with calm dogs. Keyes would do best in an adult-only home, or with mature teens who know not to scare him. He would be afraid of noisy little ones.
We think Keyes is a great boy, and given the right family with some patience, love, and attention, he will be a great family pet!
To speak with Keye's foster mom about adopting him, please email us at [email protected] or message us on facebook with your phone number, and we will have her call you!
He is allergic to fleas and must be on flea prevention at all times to prevent skin issues.
The adoption fee for Keyes is $50.
