Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Tara the Cat needs a home
Name: Tara
Gender: Female
DOB: August2017
Description: Gray and white
TARA is a sweet kitty who has the softest fur. She loves being petted and scratched and being picked up by her foster mom - purring instantly. Her foster mom sometimes even hears Tara purring when she's just watching the other kitties getting affection. Tara must be adopted with her buddy, Tess.
Tara is a very fortunate kitty. She was born outside, rescued, spayed and ear-tipped to be returned outdoors by an organization that works with feral cats living outdoors. Once it was obvious that this little lady was too sweet and friendly to be living anywhere but in a warm, loving home, SPCA agreed to take Tara into our care. She is a curious and adventurous but still a little skittish as she learns to trust her foster parents more each day. She is very approachable by calm, loving people.
Tara is very good about playing independently and loves to chase a laser pointer. Tara was recently moved to a foster home with Blaze, Dos and Tess. She's an energetic girl who plays well with her buddy, Tess. Tara needs a relatively quiet home with patient caretakers who will give her a little time to adapt to new people. She will do best in a home with just adults, although an older, calm older child would be fine. No babies or young children down the road.
Tara is a sweet, sweet girl who is lucky to have a chance to live a safe, loving life indoors.
