Bear *PERFECT DOG?* the Dog needs a home
Could Bear be the perfect dog? If you like a super low-maintenance, quiet, happy dog - and you don't have any cats - then he just might be perfect for you. He came to LBL very scared of people, but after a few months of love and training, he became a friendly guy (if a bit shy) who knows how to sit, lay down, and walk perfectly on a leash. He found the perfect home with a quiet lady who took the time to bond with him, but several months later tragedy struck when she developed a health issue that required her to move across the country to live with a relative. Bear came back to us and is now looking for a forever home. He is friendly with other dogs and he enjoys playing with them, but gets along fine by himself, too. He loves treats and gets more animated when they come out, but otherwise he tends to lay in his crate (with the door open or closed), or on the porch. He's 6-8 years old, his teeth are shiny from his recent dental, he's got his shots and he's microchipped. He prefers a peaceful environment. He always gets very "soft eyes" and wags his tail when people speak to him, but he doesn't seek out affection. He's a really easy, quiet, sweet dog whose only requirement is a quiet home where he can relax and enjoy life.
