zzKhaleesi the Dog needs a home
Hi! My name is Khaleesi. Khalee for short. I was rescued by my mom from DAS in March of 2013. I was a year old, full grown and only 30 pounds when she found me. They said I was found on the street, but I used to be hit a lot by people. Mom can tell. I'm still a little skittish when I hear loud noises, and I bark at strangers that come into my house or approach me or my mom on the street too quickly for comfort. I quickly get used to stangers though and I am so excited to meet them that I can't help myself but jump all over them. I am not allowed to go to dog parks because I am not well behaved around most other dogs. I like to be dominant, and growl a lot when I play. I do get along really well with my cousin, who is an english bulldog, and my boyfriend, a pitbull. They are both extremely calm, and help keep me calm as well. I really love to run fast and I can play for hours. I also am an amazing swimmer! I love men more than my mom! And I also love children. My mom has a niece and nephew ages 2 and 1, but sometimes I get carried away with my love and try to jump on them. So maybe a little older kids that can play with me would be best. My mom is moving to Australia and she says that it's for my safety that I don't come. I would have to fly underneath the plane and mom says that is dangerous. She wants me to have a loving home that treats me like one of the family. She is sad to leave me, but thinks that it will be best for me in the long run.
