Adopt a Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat)
Caroline in OK - new pup! the Dog needs a home
Puppies are ready to join their fur-ever homes at 11 weeks old.
Female puppies will not be placed in homes that already have a female dog in residence.
Puppies will not be adopted in pairs.
Previous dog experience is required, preferably large breed.
Caroline and brother Cooper are sweet and adorable 13 week old Great Pyrenees pups. The pups are crate training, house training, leash training and learning basic manners at their foster home. They are fostered with and get along well with small and large dogs as well as cats. These are sweet lovebugs that will be wonderful family companion dogs.
These pups are Pyr sized, also have Pyr looks and behavior, but probably have a little other breed mix since they don't have double dews. They have had a full exam, are micro chipped, dewormed, had their first round of vaccines, and are current on monthly prevention meds. They will be neutered and receive their second set of vaccines around 2/10 and then be ready to join their fur-ever homes. To apply to adopt one of these babies the application can be submitted at www.nationalpyr.org
Oklahoma dogs are not available to adopters who live in an apartment.

About Us: National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) is not a shelter. We are a not-for-profit, tax-exempt coalition of Pyr rescuers and rescue groups. We save Pyrs and Pyr mixes across the country and place them in approved foster homes so we know how they will interact with your family. Please consider adopting or fostering. Every dog who is fostered or adopted makes room for another Pyr coming out of a kill shelter. Prior to adoption, NGPR dogs are fostered for a minimum of two weeks (usually more), spayed or neutered and fully vetted. Dogs coming from out of area are certified with a USDA health certificate before going to their new homes. Our rescuers adhere to the highest placement standards and will take back any dog whose adoption does not succeed. Visit www.nationalpyr.org to learn more about us, our mission and our breed.
