Shorty the Dog needs a home
Size is no indication of personality, and this holds very true for our favorite low-rider Shorty! He is a bundle of fun packed into a stout 40-pound package. We rescued Shorty in November from San Bernardino where he was picked up as a stray. He has gorgeous red and white coloring, a short and easy-to-care-for coat, inquisitive chestnut colored eyes, and a sturdy and adorable low-to-the-ground physique. Shorty has the strength and affection of a Staffy and the sweet nature of a Bassett. He is a natural people-pleaser and will happily wag his tail at the sight of you. He enjoys treats and is all paws on deck when it comes to training and rewards time. When we get him out on a leash, he is eager to explore and loves to check out his surroundings. When we sit down with him for some quality one-on-one time, he will snug right up nice and close and gently wag his tail while enjoying a nice patting. Shorty is 6 years old as of late 2017, and he still has a whole lifetime of love and affection to give to his true forever family!
