Coco the Dog needs a home
This is sweet Coco. We've actually known her since her puppy days when her owner went through our Community Outreach Program to have her spayed and vaccinated 4 years ago. Since the rabies tag was registered to us, we were alerted when she recently showed up at a shelter. Turns out, her whole perfect world was suddenly flipped upside down when her owner ran into some financial trouble recently and lost his home. He was no longer able to properly care for Coco, and he had no choice but to reluctantly surrender her. We immediately visited the shelter and took Coco to a foster home. She is doing well and getting along great with the foster family's dogs. Coco loves her foster family, but is ready to start her forever life over again.
Coco is a beautiful Chocolate Lab/Pit mix. She weighs 62 pounds, and has a short, stocky build. She has the most adorable floppy ears that are so soft to the touch! She does very well with people and other medium to large dogs, but she and cats do not mix well.
