Lenny the Dog needs a home


Lenny is a 5 year old Tibetan Terrier mix, but we think he's really one of Jim Henson's Muppet characters! Lenny found himself at the OC Shelter when his former owners surrendered him because they were moving out of state. Understandably, he was very scared, but since being in his foster home, he is learning how to trust again We think because of his extreme cuteness, he may have been allowed to develop some not-so-cute behaviors but with a little training, and because he is smart and wants to please, he is becoming a very well-mannered little guy!.  

Lenny would do best in a home with a family who can continue being the strong pack leader(s) he needs and appreciates. He lives with 2 other dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them, but would do best in a family with children 12 and older who would be able to help reinforce his training.
