Adopt a Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

What would you do? Say you are at the Vet’s office and you hear a person crying that they lost their home and can’t keep their two beautiful loving 10 year old and 15 year old dogs and have run out of options. What would you do? And this was not a made up pretend scenario on the John Quinones show this was our real life.  Lucky for us, a fella was there and said he would foster us so that we could find a new place to call home instead of the eeeek alternative. My name is Sandy, I am the one with the flappy ears and dabbles of grey fur on my muzzle, I am 10 years old and mostly golden Labrador Retriever mixed with Shepherd weigh about 60 pounds.  I earned each of my gray whiskers, I got a new one each time I did something sweet for my human, so there are LOTS there.  I am daughter to the smaller of us. My Mommy is named Ginger, obviously, named for her pretty color and about 50 pounds.  She is my actual blood Mommy and 15 years old.  We have been twogether for 10 whole years, so God’s Dogs Rescue very much wants us to be adopted as a package deal, since our world has already been turned inside out, they want us to have some consistency. We are sweet, sweet gals, easy on a leash, very soft to touch, and already house trained. We do wonderful around other dogs and really just want a soft place to spend the time we have left.  I want to continue earning my gray muzzle whiskers and show you just how much sweetness I have to offer.

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
