Molly the Cat needs a home
Hello to everyone! My name is Molly. I am a 7 year old, rather large lady. I came to the Pet Pantry back in May of 2017 when my owner was no longer able to care for me. I spent my time here so far moving through a few adoption centers trying to find where I would be most comfortable. One of the wonderful volunteers here fostered me for a few months so I could have time out of a cage and hopefully lose some weight. No such luck with that!
Today I received an exam and will be starting a new diet. I will be kept at the Furever Homes adoption center where I will have a condo room instead of a cage so that I can move about more freely. I am not thrilled about being so limited on what I eat, but I do hope it helps so that I can begin to feel more healthy and fit!
Overall I am a very sweet lady. I love to be petted and give head bumps and love to all humans. I get along well with other cats too, although at first I may introduce myself with a small growl or hiss until I get used to them. I don't find a lot of interest in toys. My foster mom learned that I actually prefer to growl at them. I think playing and acting like a fool is not something a lady like myself should take part in.
I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. Now I just need a family to love me enough to help me on my journey to be a healthy, happy family cat.
