Standard Adoption Fee Adult Dog: $250 ea.  Puppy Adoption Fee: $300 ea. Reduced rates for Seniors dogs (10 and up).  Reduced rates for pairs (when adopted together).

Bonded Pair with Hank

My buddy Hank talks funny but he is an OK guy.  I am the more serious of our dynamic duo.  I must check out every nook and cranny of every room to be sure it is safe and if there is anything that needs further investigation.  My foster mom says I am just plain nosey.  Well, I AM a dachshund!  Thanks to DDRTX, my buddy and I have had 2 great homes, each one for several years.  Both homes had to give us back because they had to move and could not take us with them.  But we are fine and we know we will find another loving home soon.  We prefer a home with a doggie door so we can go outside when we need to.  Goofy Hank likes toys and stuff but I just like to patrol things and be sure all is in order.  We don't care about cats or other dogs, they are all fine.  Nice, respectful kids would be OK too.  We just need a safe place to hang out and be good dogs.  So, if you have room for a pair, give us a call!



Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.



 




Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
