Adopt a Black Mouth Cur / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

Black Mouth Cur / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Piper the Dog needs a home

Piper was rescued from the FBCAS by my family in late November.  We love having her as our foster dog.  She is sweet and lovable; she has been fantastic with our young child, our other two family dogs and 1 cat.  She is very good with meeting new people and dogs, although she can be just a bit shy at first.  She likes to occasionally play with our other dogs, but she does not really enjoy fetching - she likes to watch and just enjoy being outside.  She is both an indoor/outdoor dog, but needs a secure fence, so she can't sneak out.  She cannot be left alone for long periods of time yet; she gets too nervous.  She can be left in a wire kennel for a few hours at time.  She really enjoys going for walks and jogs.  She really loves to play with her "stuffy" toys.  She is very calm and will be a great dog for any family.  She is a good snuggler.  As long as she had opportunities to visit dog parks or friends with dogs, I do not think she requires a companion animal, but she does seem to like to be around other dogs - she will sleep next to or in the bed with our dogs and wants to be near them at most times.
