Adopt a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Shepherd / Mixed

Meet Bellaby... this beautiful girl, a heeler/Shepard mix only about 1 year old was brought in by her owners to be euthanized because she was dog aggressive. (Basically saying this puppy was dog aggressive...crazy isn't it??) our vet didn't see any signs of it and she was young and healthy and instead of euthanizing her called me and asked if we would take her into our program. He didn't feel like it was right to put her down. And we are glad he felt that way and reached out to us because we have had her about three weeks and tested her with all size dogs and cats and have yet to witness any negative behavior. She will be spayed and microchipped on 9/25 and will be ready for a fur-ever home. She is HW negative, had all three vaccinations, including; rabies, bordatella, parvo/distemper/lepto virus. She is on monthly prevention for fleas/ticks and heartworm. She is crate trained and sleeps in the crate at night, learning how to use a doggy door, loves the outdoors, plays great with other dogs her size, not much interested in the smaller dogs. Hasn't really seemed I Interested in the cat but has not been formally introduced. She minds well and knows basic commands. She is a sweet girl who would be best in a home with an active family and lots of room to roam and explore.
