Trixie the Dog needs a home
Hi. My name is Trixie. Before coming to Happy Tails I was living outside on my own. Some might use the word "feral." Being in the house is something new to me. I am liking it so far. It has not been very long and I have learned what toys are (sometimes I confuse the kids toys with mine, but I am learning). I LOVE the couch. I am great with kids, cats, and dogs. I am also doing great on this leash thing.
FROM MY FOSTER MOM:
- Trixie is a joy to have around. It is fun watching her come out of her shell. We see changes everyday. It took Trixie about 24 hours to warm up to the kids and man in the house. She is living with a 1 yr old, 7 yr old, 2 cats, and dogs (7 lb dog - 110 lbs). She loves everyone (2 legs or 4) once she knows they are safe :)
I am a flight risk. I do need a home with a fence. I would also LOVE another dog.
***Most of our pups can be enrolled in training anywhere there are a few that we require to attend our training. This is one of them. They have something special about them and we want to make sure they get the extra support they need. Most of them have already started our training program.
Trixie gets comfortable in the house very quickly. She is uncertain when going to new places and meeting new people. She has been attending training with her foster mom.
Prior to adoption, I will be altered, vaccinated, health checked and microchipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5 and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family.
