Adopt a Bichon Frise / Mixed (short coat)

Hello there! My name is Ziggy, and I would really like to be in your lap right now. I am a cuddle addict who was brought back to Second Chance to find a new forever home where my people understand me. I think I may not have had the best experiences in the past, so even though I love attention now, I just prefer humans who can go slow with me and let me set the pace. That's not to say I'm unfriendly or aggressive - I'm not! I love attention, but fast movements scare me, so I think I'd do best in a laid-back home where there are no little humans or other dogs. But as your sole companion, I promise to fill your heart with so much love that you won't even need another dog ;) Besides having the sweetest personality this side of the Mississippi, I'm also a very gentle guy who walks very well on the leash. I'm kennel trained and don't mind being groomed. All I want to do is curl up on the couch with you and keep you company forever, so why don't you take me home today? Weight: 12 pounds

ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come to our adoption center during business hours. Appointments are not required. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. 

ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
