Jimbo the Cat needs a home
Jimbo is available for adoption at our Petco Cat Habitat in Grandview! Our partnership with the Petco Foundation allows KCPP adoptables to live inside the store until they find a forever home. KCPP cats inside the habitats receive the same vetting and adoption benefits as cats adopted from our shelter. If you're interested in meeting Jimbo, a Petco associate will assist you inside the store!
"Adventure is out there!" This is Jimbo's motto; his creed; what he lives by! Jimbo is an adventurous guy, and he's looking for a family who can match his curiosity and help him explore all the world has to offer!
Jimbo found himself in KC Pet Project's care after his previous family's living situation changed, and they could no longer keep him. They had nothing but nice things to say about him, though! In fact, they said he's been known to give kisses, and be super lovey dovey. He also lived with another dog in the home and did well. We've seen him interact with some dogs during his time with us, and he doesn't seem the least bit bothered by them! As long as he's given a slow, patient, introduction, he should do well with other cat-friendly dogs!
One of Jimbo's favorite pastimes is walking around the Petco store on his harness. He loves to explore and check out the small mammals and birds! His favorite spot though, has to be the area that has all the cat towers! He loves jumping back and forth between the different sizes, and laying out on them. He can see everything in the store when he's that high up and he loves it!
He would love to find a family that can keep his playful spirit alive, and who would love to teach him new things, and show him new places (at his own pace of course!). Come meet him today!
