King the Dog needs a home
King is a happy, young dog who has a real zest for life. He loves being around people and being the center of attention, but also can entertain himself with his toys. King's favorite toy is his jolly ball and he loves running around the yard with it in his mouth. He also enjoys playing a game of fetch. King gets along well with other dogs, although his enthusiasm can be a little much for some of the less playful ones, or the seniors. King has shown some curiosity with cats, but has been able to be called away from them. He doesn't show any aggression towards them, but may be a little rough when trying to play with them. King loves humans of all ages and sizes, but due to his size and exhuberance, he should not be placed in a home with small children. He is being fostered in a home in MN.
King has taken some obedience classes and knows some commands, including "sit", "down", "stay", "wait" and "come". He is also working on his impulse control. King loves to go for long walks and does well with his gentle leader once the initial excitement has worn off. King gets excited when he sees objects that are moving, such as cars, bikes and children, so he is working on sitting and focusing on his person instead of the movement. King is crate-trained and house-trained.
