Chevy joined Furry Kids along with his family Ladybug, Wiggles & Panda after their human passed away and all 4 ended up at a local shelter. He is the father to Wiggles & Panda.
Chevy is such a wonderful boy. He does like to hang out and be mellow but gets random spurts of energy in which he bounces around like a pup. He loves other dogs and he loves people! He is affectionate and very loving.
It did take us a while to get Chevy healthy. Initially he had kennel cough from the shelter he came from which didnt seem to go away so with further evaluation and an x-ray we discovered Chevy has a heart murmur and is now on daily medicine for it. This medicine costs approx. $18 each month. Chevy also had a dental and did lose quite a few teeth but he will be able to eat normally. Chevy also has cataracts so he sees very little. He needs a home with very few stairs and a fenced yard. Once Chevy acclimates to a home he does very well. Chevy is housebroken and crate trained, however his medicine does require him to potty more frequently.
