Wendy the Dog needs a home
Just look at that smile! She also does that teeth showing thing we have all seen on the videos when dogs are guilty”!! We call it the Wendy Williams grin! Yep, another dog with a last name (like Joe Wilson- are there any Wendy Williams out there???).
Wendy is a 7 year old, German Shepard mix, a long timer and has become a staff and volunteer favorite. She belonged to an elderly couple who were unable to care for her anymore. We cannot figure out why this gorgeous little gal is still here- over a YEAR!!! It is taking its toll on her,Wendy isn't very happy in the kennel. But relaxes once out on her walks, grinning at you and doing the tail waggins.
She is goofy and affectionate and really LOVES her belly rubbed! Wendy has been disappointed at being walked past so many times, she is a bit shy but warms up quickly when she is out of kennel and strutting her stuff by the pond! She will do best in a quiet, low traffic home with adults only.
She has had play dates at Camp, she cannot tolerate young rambunctious dogs, so if there is another dog in your home, she prefers laid back, dozing in the sun together, some walks in the snow and no real goofy play.
She will need a 1-2 month decompression in quiet environment: no dog parks, no play dates, etc.
