Hi! My name is Sam Riley and I am a 5-year-old, black and white Labrador mix weighing in at a fit 62 pounds. I originally came to the SPCA of Texas as an owner surrender and found a new home soon after that. Unfortunately, I got separated from that family and couldn't find them again so I was transferred back to the shelter for a second stay. But do you wanna know a secret? I got separated from that family because I'm an excellent escape artist! I'm hoping my new family will have a high, sturdy fence for their yard and won't leave me unsupervised for too long. Escaping is fun, but life afterwards is kinda tough. I really do enjoy being around people though. I'm a friendly, lovable guy who just needs a lot of exercise and fun time. I like to enjoy my life and there's nothing wrong with that! I have been neutered and microchipped and I'm up to date on all of my age-appropriate vaccinations. All you have to do is come on by the shelter to meet me!
