My name is Jake. I’m a year old and my best guess is a small lab mix. I have almost reached my Adult Weight at 26 pounds. I am neutered, heartworm negative, housebroken, and microchipped. I have a black coat with a chocolate sheen. I saw a veterinary ophthalmologist who confirmed I’m Blind. As far as my foster mom is concerned, I have an almost normal life. I’m healthy, happy, and confident. I love people and playing with other dogs at the dog park. My obsession is playing ball, which I have learned to find by scent. People who meet me say I have an adorable head tilt when listening. Occasionally, I ignore my foster mom but only because my senses are overloaded like any other dogs when we visit new places. Because I can’t see I won’t make fun of your dance moves or your fashion sense. I’m only interested in one thing, the size of your HEART. If there is room in your HEART and in your HOME for a super fun dog then it’s the perfect size.
