Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

I think I am a smart guy because I went to college! Before I went to my Foster Home, I was living on the St. Philip’s College campus for weeks. I didn’t stay long enough to get my degree, but I was going for a Masters in Cuddleology. My Foster Mom was there at college for a boy scout event and I was the self pawclaimed boy scout greeter and they all loved me.  Foster Mom asked the campus people if they knew who I belonged to, but they said I was just a stray that hung out there. A search for my owner came up fruitless.  My name is Buddy and I am a BLACK LAB MIX with handsome white markings on my chest and estimated to be 18–24 months old and I weigh 56 lbs. My coat is in good condition and so is my dispawsition. I am very alert and clearly in “puppy stages”. FULL OF ENERGY and love to watch and chase squirrels and birds. I am well-behaved on a leash, love children, and VERY AFFECTIONATE. I also know commands of “sit” and “down”.  I am house-trained. I like to sleep curled up with Foster Mom and wake her up in the morning with a smooch. I do the Lab lean and LEAN against my Foster People’s legs as a sign of affection. My favorite rubs spots are belly and under chin.  I would thrive in a home that has a large fenced- in yard, TEENAGERS in a family OR someone who is a JOGGER and would like a companion. I do not know how I am with cats, there aren’t any here.  I get along with my furry foster siblings, and mouth his legs to try and get him to play.  Remember I am in the puppy stage and that can be annoying to older dogs, but a young dog might like me a lot. I am in the big puppy stage and still jumping up to say hi. If you want almost 60 pounds of love, adopt me!  Please email [email protected] and tell them you want ME!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
