Freddy is a wonderful dog who is full of energy and enthusiasm! He is great around people and

loves going on walks and exploring the outside world, as well as learning new skills, manners,

and tricks at home. His favorite place is right next to his people whether they are sitting on the

couch, driving around town, or resting in bed. He is a great cuddler at night, although he is a bit

of a bed hog!

Freddy is completely house trained and rarely gets into trouble when he is left alone - most of

the time it is his people’s fault for not cleaning up the kitchen properly. Freddy does not need to

be crated and we are typically gone for about 6 hours a day. He can be left alone for up to 8

hours on occasion, but he does get a bit anxious without his people around so 4-6 hours is

usually better for him. He will greet us and new visitors to the house with barks, but other than

that he is pretty quiet when in the house.

Freddy is working on his leash manners still but does very well with a gentle leader. He is very

interested in squirrels and rabbits, but has shown promise during training. With enough hot dogs

and cheese he is happy to oblige! He knows basic commands and is always eager to learn

more, so he will love an adopter who will continue teaching him new things. Freddy likes toys

that can keep him busy, such as Nylabones and Kongs. He also loves to destroy stuffed toys

when given the opportunity (under supervision so he doesn't eat the squeakers inside!).

Freddy is looking for a great forever family to love him through his golden years! He has an

infinite amount of love and cuddles to share in return.
