Meet Banks!
Banks is an adorable, full of life, playful 13 month old lab/heeler mix. He is housebroken, crate trained, knows the following commands: front, leave-it, drop-it sit, stay, wait, shake, roll over, and high five. He loves playing with other dogs at daycare, hiking, and going on car rides. He is an absolute sweetheart and loves to cuddle. Banks is a high energy dog and a bit stubborn so his ideal owner will be able to provide firm and consistent leadership along with continued training. Banks is somewhat of an insecure dog and would do best in a home with a well-rounded dog and room to run. He has grown up around cats and does well with them. As with most stubborn or insecure dogs; Banks has shown some resource guarding with his current owners and now has a bite history. Banks does well with correction and is eager to please, has been to training and never demonstrated that behavior with his trainer. Banks learned that getting his way with his current owners was through biting them but we believe with a different environment with strong leadership and guidance Banks will outgrow these unwanted behaviors. Banks is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
