Adopt a Basset Hound / Mixed (medium coat)
Doolie the Dog needs a home
Liza Dolittle (affectionately called Doolie) is
about 90% pure Basset Hound, but has a fluffy tail and rump feathers which are definitely NOT characteristic of the breed! Doolie's vital stats: she weighs about 49 pounds, stands 10 inches at the shoulder and 32 inches long from nose to rump (with that lovely tail adding another 14 inches). She's either brown with white patches, or white with brown patches, depending on your point of view. Sadly due to illness her family must move to assisted living and can't take their beloved dogs with them. They describe Doolie as housebroken and good around other dogs as well as children. Doolie is a loving, sweet girl, very laid back and will do anything you ask, as long as it doesn't interfere with what she is doing at the moment--her life motto is "Take a Number, I'll Be With You In A Minute"! Even at 10 years old, Doolie still has lots of zest for life and companionship to give. She's already spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped--all ready to go for an adoption fee of only $95.00. If you think you and Doolie would make a great match please click on the green arrow icon near the top of the page to fill out an online adoption application. Once approved, we'll gladly set up a time for you to meet her in person. Doolie has a 5 year old Rat Terrier companion named Domino, and if you'd consider taking them both home so they can stay together, this pair has a special adoption fee of just $125.00. Thanks for coming to the rescue!
