Mistletoe is a shy girl, but she is also very sweet and calm. She enjoys hanging on top of her cage and preening. She needs a family who has a quiet household as she is easily spooked by loud, unfamiliar noises. She enjoys it when relaxing music is playing or other birds are chirping nearby. She currently enjoys the freedom of having her cage door open when her foster mom is home. She will sometimes come out and sit by the cage door or climb up to get to the millet. She has full flight and takes a short distance flight when she is out. She then returns to the top of her cage for some much needed preening. Mistletoe wants to be hand tame, isn't quite all the way there yet., but she is making progress. She needs someone who will take it slow and build trust with her. She does not have a preference for males or females. She enjoys snacking on her seeds, pellets, and millet, but has not yet tried to eat any fresh foods. Overall, Mistletoe is a very sweet girl who would do best in a calm household where she can hang out with the family.
