The post-adoption time is a real treat for anyone that is looking for a furry companion. However, the pre-adoption process can be a real nightmare for those that do not know much about adoptions. Wildlife living in forests are having a hard time these days, with clear cutting trees for new housing development that is going on. Some species are slowly becoming extinct. Adopt a Cattle Dog / Mixed
Sydney the Dog needs a home
Meet Sydney! She is 2 years old and is a Cattle Dog mix. True to her breed, Sydney is happiest when her foster mom makes sure she's had plenty of exercise. She loves to run on the beach and would make a great hiking, biking, or running partner. Sydney has been around other dogs, people, and kids and does well with all of them, but she may be a bit too exuberant for small children. Sydney loves to show off her Cattle Dog smarts and quickly learned sit, down, shake, dance and stay- among others- in her foster home. She walks great on the leash, is house and crate-trained, and sleeps through the night. She also loves to swim and run on the beach, has excellent recall, and enjoys a good snuggle. Sydney does great at the dog park where she plays nicely with big and small dogs. Cattle dogs like Sydney need an experienced owner who knows how to handle a smart and independent mind. No kitties in the home for this girl, they are far too fun to chase. Sydney is looking for a family who is active and will commit to loving her and bringing her on adventures. If you are ready to adopt a dog to add to your family and are interested in meeting Sydney, your first step is to fill out an adoption application on our website.
This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is completing the adoption application, available with our adoption process on our website at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Labs and More is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on donations and time dedicated to this cause by volunteers. Your adoption will save the life of future dogs in need. Labs and More makes no guarantees regarding the behavior, breed, or age of the dogs in our care. Although we strive to provide necessary medical care to dogs in our care, we cannot predict future or current medical needs whether they were symptomatic or not at the time of adoption.
