Meet Lyric, she is a double merle dane. She is deaf and vision impaired. She is great with other dogs. She has been exposed to children 9 and up and does well with them. She doesn't always know her size so you need to monitor closely. She doesn't like to be crated much, peanut butter in a kong gets her in. She would do best in a home where someone is home more frequently. When she first comes out of of her crate she is excited. She jumps a lot. We are working on this. She is still young and has no puppy manners. I am working on sit, lay down, stay down and back as hand signals. She is all over the kitchen table and counters. She does still chew on things she shouldn't. She is not scared of baby gates. She wants to be with her people constantly. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She is a big cuddle bug. She loves curling up on the couch with her people and dogs. She is such a sweetheart and submissive dog. She is potty trained with a doggy door. She loves to go outside. She sleeps in my room, she sleeps in her bed, or on my ottoman at the foot of my bed. She has slept in her crate, but doesn't seem to sleep very well. She needs someone who is going to put in the time with her and bond with her so she understands. She would benefit from training classes.For more information, please email us at [email protected].
