Jax is a giant mush that is protective of those he cares about, even if it means he's protecting you from that tree stump your cutting up for firewood. He has attended Pet Smarts puppy, basic, and intermediate obedience. He tends to be a bit stubborn at times but will do just about anything for a pat on the head and a good boy. He is not a counter surfer and does not chew toys, furniture, or clothing. He is house broken. He can be a bit shy at first but once he gets a good sniff he is more than excited to curl up on the couch or bed and cuddle in your lap, or he is just as happy laying at your feet hanging out while you watch tv, read a book, or play video games. His favorite game is fetch and will play it regardless of how hot or cold it is outside.
Jax is being listed because of things out of his control. Our home has 3 small children who have left the door open a dozen too many times and Jax has taken himself for runs/walks in the neighborhood. Given his size, color, and breed he is an intimidating creature to those who don't know him. So, he has been reported and is at the point where the county wishes to take him to the kill shelter. I would rather try to rehome him somewhere that is able to make sure he wont get loose, be abused, or put down because he isn't adopted in time.
