Kenya the Dog needs a home

Houston, TX area: "Kenya" saved from a life of being beaten up daily to survive in a trailer park. Nobody tried to help her, she didn't trust people or other dogs. Then after being saved from her daily torturing she developed a deadly disease which she was strong enough to survive, now she deserves the life she should have started with, one filled with love and nurturing. She is quiet, just learning that dogs aren't here to hurt her, she now trusts people and has started to play a little, she loves to run. She knows how to use the dog door and is house trained. She will need someone patient enough to understand she has had a rough start in life but she is worth it!! Kenya is about 37lbs and a little over a year old.
