3854 Leelou - SO the Cat needs a home
Leelou is a shy cat who enjoys spending time with people she loves. She is afraid of men, but she does well with women. She gets along well with other cats and she doesn't mind calm dogs. She's 5 years old and came to us from her owner whose landlord said Leelou had to move out.
Leelou's foster mom says: "When she wants attention, (she does go curl up and nap or lie on the shelf at the window and watch the birds a lot), she's very insistent--I become her personal jungle gym as she hops from the floor to my lap, then climbs to my shoulders, walks back and forth purring and then down the other side to my lap again while I'm trying to type. She's not really into being picked up and held, but will lie down on your lap while she's being petted. She sometimes plays with the catnip mousie toy I've given her, and will play with a string toy if I swish it around for her. She has a quiet, gravelly meow (kinda reminds me of Marge Simpson's "hrrmmm" noise when she's annoyed at Homer)."
Leelou's adoption fee is only $50. She is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.
