Peggy Sue the Dog needs a home

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Peggy Sue is a funny and wonderful 7 year old, 7 lb. Chiweenie who loves everyone she meets.  She gets along with other dogs but not cats.  Because of her small size, she needs to go with older kids.  Peggy Sue is also housetrained and crate trained.


She has been spayed, is heartworm negative, microchipped and vaccinated. 


Peggy Sue has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and is on 1/2 a pill a day of Enalapril.  The cost is about $10 a month. She is also on Proin 50 mg for bladder support and is doing very well.  Proin is $16.23 for 90 tablets through Chewy.com and should last for months since she only takes 1/4 of a pill 2 X a day.  She loves to take her medicine with cream cheese and turkey meat.
