Monroe the Cat needs a home
Monroe is a beautiful DSH Lynx Point Siamese mix male born approximately 4/11/2017.
Monroe is a handsome short haired Siamese mix. He was named Monroe after his cute freckle on his nose that reminded his foster of Marilyn Monroe. He acts shy around new people and in new settings, but once he feels comfortable he is a total ham. Monroe likes other cats, but loves his sister, Hepburn. They were both rescued from living outside in a neighborhood with hungry coyotes.
Monroe enjoys being brushed, pet, eating yummy canned food, Temptations treats, and playing with his sister. He likes for his head to be rubbed and will push his head into your hand if you stop petting him. He will occasionally give you a love bite. He is obsessed with catching Da Bird Toy and will play until he is exhausted. Monroe and Hepburn can be seen grooming each other and snuggling together. He is happy to sit in your lap or join you on the couch to watch some TV.
Monroe is a cautious kitty at times which is why we are hoping he can be adopted with his security blanket (Hepburn). Although their personalities are different, they complement each other well. He would do best in a home with the patience needed to let him feel safe, has playmates, and can get lots of love and attention. We know he likes cats, but has not been around dogs. He would likely be fine with a cat friendly dog if introduced properly over time. He has not been around young children and probably would be stressed in a chaotic household.
Monroe is currently in a foster home and his adoption fee is $95.
