Winnie the Dog needs a home

Wonderful Winnie is a Catahoula Leopard Mix, with the most heart melting eyes and a quiet, loving disposition. Those characteristics are exactly why she was chosen to be C.A.R.E.’s “Office Dog,” a prestigious position reserved for the dogs who are well behaved. Although occasionally, she does not care for the company of other dogs, she has represented C.A.R.E. at  Community Outreach events and loved the attention from all of the children. Winnie is very responsive to human attention and could easily learn more tricks since she is highly motivated by FOOD. She loves all treats and has learned how to use “puppy eyes” to get an extra snack or scratch on the head. Winnie knows all of her basic commands. At her age, shelter life is not ideal and she needs a forever home that can nurture her quiet disposition with love and attention. As part of her adoption, Winnie is current on vaccinations and has been spayed and micro chipped. Approx. DOB: May 2, 2009.
