Adopt a Shih Tzu (long coat)
TISH the Dog needs a home
Meet Tish!! She is a great "little" shih tzu senior lady who is 12 years old. Tish was found living on the street in rural Kentucky matted and unkept with broken teeth. She was taken in by a well meaning foster who was overwhelmed but wanted to keep Tish out of the shelter. She went from 14 to 25 lbs in 9 months. To say she loves to eat is an understatement. Tish was rescued by Miss Christine and so far has lost 7 lbs. After all she has been through Tish does have some trust issues. You need to go slow with her and earn her trust. As long as you are slow and let her know what you are doing Tish will be your best friend. If not you will probably be bitten. For that reason Tish would do much better in a home without children. The best situation for Tish would be a home where she is understood due to her past and that she will probably not change much. There are scars but with love and understanding Tish will continue to improve as she has with Christine. A stress free environment where she is the only dog would be best. If you are kind and patient and give Tish time to settle in you will see the gem that she truly is. She loves to go for walks, be boosted up o the couch to snuggle and watch TV, sleep with you and live in a calm home where she will be loved. She will definitely return your love 10 fold. Tish loves to ride in the car and is great at the groomer as long as they take their time and talk with her. Tish does have dry eye and requires drops twice a day. She is spayed, current on all her shots and microchipped. To learn more about Tish please contact Vivienne at [email protected] or 615-943-7311. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
