Crystal the Dog needs a home
Crystal Was rescued 20 minutes before she was to be euthanized at a NY Shelter.With so many dogs coming from all the various disaster areas, the shelter was filled so there was no room for her. My grandson Chris had just left to become a marine so I took Crystal in to our rescue to help me feel better. We normally take mature Shepherds since I am a senior. Crystal needs to be in a more active household and not one with an old lady with several senior dogs that are not to happy with a young active puppy. She is only 1 year old; about 50 lbs and now fully grown. A unique looking girl, we think her to be a shepherd /lab mix. She came to us a shy little pup but now is self assured and urgently ready for a home of her own. She gets along with most dogs. Crystal is a active dog and would do best in a home with older kids or active adults . She is used to being crated and until a little older should be crated when home alone. We have her crate that you can use. She loves car rides is very good in the car . She is a licker and gives lots of kisses. She is fully vetted, chipped and unlike most Shep/labs is not a big shedder. Crystal is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She is a clean-looking dog that's low maintenance.
