QT the Rabbit needs a home
When rescued, QT had a deep puncture wound on his right shoulder that had abscessed. He spent all his time lying close to his mother, Midnight. He was put on chloramphenicol for 2 weeks, but that did not stop the abscess. After the two weeks he had gained some weight and it was felt it would be safe to surgically remove the abscess. That surgery was accomplished successfully and after three weeks with no recurrence, he was given a clean bill of health. QT is quite adorable and friendly. He is used to being handled, but may need to be reassured that he won't receive medications every time he is picked up. It is unknown how he would respond to other animals.
QT is a dainty little boy with a zest for life. He loves to explore new places and is a master of the speedy run when he doesn't want to be caught. Once he is caught, he loves to be petted and cuddled.
