Grizzly the Dog needs a home
Grizzly and his wife Lady, a German Shepherd, were living in a kennel 24/7 for at least five years! They were never let out for exercise or human contact. The property they lived on was used for shooting commercials and the owner lives in LA. Someone came to feed them once a day, but the poop was rarely picked up and when a friend of Paw Parent worked there on a commercial and saw the conditions with poop piling up and metal bowls chewed up out of boredom, she knew she had to do something to free them. She contacted Paw Parent and it was arranged for Lady and Grizzly to come and live here at Paw Parent.
Grizzly is a happy go lucky guy who loves to run and explore and show you how much he loves you. He would be OK with being separated from his wife Lady but I am not sure how she would survive it. She is very bonded to him. So in an ideal world it would be great if they could find a home together. Sadly he has turned blind but you would never know if you don't know it. He navigates really well and has not lost his loving, exuberant spirit.
Grizzly is about 9 years old, weighs around 60-65 pounds, is current on his shots, is neutered and has a micro chip.
