CAJUN the Dog needs a home
Cajun is a friendly girl who will win you over instantly with her wonderful smile! She's about 5 years old with a red coat and complementary brown eyes, and she's medium-sized. She knows how to sit and walks nicely on her leash, as you can see on her video. She will give you a warm greeting when you meet her, because she loves people. She also does well with other dogs here at the shelter, and we believe she's housetrained. She needs to be in a home without cats. She was found running stray in Fernandina Beach, so she's a true rescue dog, and whatever happened to her in the past hasn't affected her happy, loving disposition. She's very affectionate and wants to be with people, so we think she'd do best with an owner who could spend a lot of time with her and let her know she's safe and loved. She was adopted but had to come back because her owner was moving and can't take her along. She's heartworm-negative, already spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots, and ready to start loving you today. Her adoption fee is only $50. She'll give you lots of affection and devotion, plus the warm feeling of knowing that you've given a sweet, deserving dog a new life. Please watch her video, then come meet sweet Cajun!
The adoption fee helps in covering the medical treatment that has been completed. This includes the cost of the spay or neuter, testing for HW, HW preventative, rabies vaccination, wormings, annual vaccination, and flea and tick treatments. If you are interested in adopting this pet, first visit our home page, www.nassauhumanesociety.com to complete the adoption application, view hours of operation, see other pets available or just to get directions to the shelter. You can email or fax the application to the shelter. If you have other questions you can call the shelter at 904-321-1647 or email us at [email protected]. We cannot hold a pet for adoption; therefore if you plan on traveling to the shelter please call before you leave to assure the pet you are traveling to see will be there. Some of our pets are in a foster care home with a volunteer and if you wish to meet those pets an appointment will need to be made. Thank you for considering one of our shelter pets for adoption.
