Eddie (senior) the Dog needs a home
Eddie is one of our santuary dogs and has been in rescue for a very long time.
Eddie is a little guy and absolutely adores people, young or old. He will hang out with you on the couch for hours or happily goes with you for a walk. He is a very effectionate and loves attention.
We do not know what happened to Eddie when he came into rescue but he startles very easily and goes into protective mode. For these reasons we recommend that he is not placed in a home with children.
Eddie is crate trained and house trained. He is great in the car (just lays down and sleeps) and loves to carry around and chew on his Nylabone.
Eddie does not get along with cats. He can get along with calm submissive dogs but the perfect home for him would be a home without other animals.
Eddie has no medical issues and is a healthy senior (little on the chunky money side but that can be fixed).
Eddie would be best in a quiet home where he feels safe, where he can lay beside your feed while you are working on the computer or hang out with you while you are doing yard work.
We sincerely hope that someone will be able to see what a wonderful personality he has and that someone will offer him a home for his golden years.
