Duke likes to be the leader and is quite intelligent, independent, confident and clever. He prefers making his own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. He longs to be partners in any adventure. Treat Duke like one and you'll both live happily ever after. Duke is super smart and knows many commands such as sit, lay, shake, roll over, high-five. He gets along with some dogs over others (submissive medium size dogs tend to be best) so bring your dog along for a meet and greet. He will not be placed with cats or small animals. Duke longs for a new owner who will continue to work with him with positive methods - Duke has so much potential for the right person or family. He would thrive as an only pet ideally, with a person or family who is willing to continue him training and take him on some adventures.
