Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

My name is Adorable Little Layla. I was adopted when I was a puppy and lived with my family for 7 years....until the new baby came along. You see, I fell so in love with the baby that I gave her doggy kisses whenever I could.  But my Mom and Dad said I kissed her too much so they gave me back to Eleventh Hour Rescue.  I am so so very sad because I miss the only family and home I've ever known so so very much. 

A nice lady saw how sad and scared I was at the kennel one day, and took me home for a sleepover. Lucky for me she saw how much happier I was in a home instead of the kennel so she decided to let me stay with her. 

That was almost a year ago...seems nobody wants me.  Maybe it's because I'm older and people like puppies better? I'm around 9 years old but my foster mom says I do not act like an older dog. In fact, I keep up with all my younger foster siblings when we run around and play in the backyard!! I LOVE to go for jogs and I'd make a great running partner. I also really love going on walks and hikes. Foster mommy says I am very smart and I know how to sit, stay, give paw, lay down, I also know the command to come!! I am house and crate trained, and foster mommy even trusts me to be loose in the guest room when she isn't home!!

When foster mommy first brought me home my skin wasn't good at all and I was SO ITCHY, so she brought me to the vet.  Seems my last family didn't think it was a big deal but with the amazing care of the vet and my foster mommy so great, I got better, and now I just have to take an allergy pill every day!!  No biggie!!!

I currently live with 4 other dogs - my foster siblings are the absolute best and have taught me how to be a dog! I love dogs of all sizes and I am really good with little dogs too!! As you can see in some of the pictures I am a complete snuggle bug!!! However, there is one thing I do not like...and that's cats. So my perfect forever home would be without them.

Foster mommy keeps telling me that I am such a good girl and she does not understand why no one has fallen in love with me - she promises me every night when she kisses my head that we will find my forever family but until then I will have her endless love.
