Sarhoz came all the way from Alanya, Turkey.
There is so much to say about Sarhoz!

Sarhoz. Meaning drunk after his anaesthetic. He is a loving sweet gentle boy who stole our hearts ♥? big time. Please give him a chance." 
He was meant to be out on the Serengeti taking down anything that moves.
He's a player. He likes to frolic, romp, and play non-stop.
And he is very sweet and loving.

Sarkov is at the Vacaville Petco. 

Originally he was trapped for TNR and returned to his hilltop near 4 crossroads and huge supermarkets. He was still woozy from his anesthetic and was putting out big paws to shake their hands and roll over for tummy cuddles. So they packed him right back up and took him back to the clinic to find him a home.

Why did we rescue from Turkey?? There are three things you should know: 

1. Our WT&F founder is very much open to rescuing from other states and countries as possible due to an extensive family history and experiences with her mother and children being adopted. Her love for humans and animals in need has no borders. 

2. Also to note, each one of these animals' transfer fees, adoption fees, health certificates, foreign vet fees or transport fees has NOT cost this rescue a dime. We are simply giving them new chances, so our donators can rest assured we are not "wasting" funds on animals not in our area! We appreciate you and your donations and want you to know this.

3. The street animals of Turkey are nearly always abused. They are purposely hit by cars, poisoned, and otherwise physically targeted. It's an existence that is purely miserable. Their chance of finding a home in Turkey is beyond slim. Their only hope of living longer than a few years is finding refuge out of the country.

We have two locations to view our kitties: Napa Petco and Vacaville Petco. Sometimes kitties move locations or go into foster for a break. Please stop by our two locations to look at kitties any day, and then come into our adoption events on the weekends.
