Charlie the Cat needs a home
Are you looking for a loyal companion and friend? Then I am your guy. My name is Charlie and my most favorite thing to do is curl up on your lap. I would stay there all day if you let me. The nice lady that rescued me says that she just wants to just squeeze and hug me because I am so cute (yikes!). I guess it’s because I am kind of short and just a little round.
I had a rough start out in life. I was found as a stray that found my way to a feral colony. My cat friends and I lived near a trailer park that was very mean to us. They would try to hit us with sticks and throw things at us. A lady that used to feed us nearby moved out of state last year and didn’t tell anybody that she was leaving us behind without someone. We went without food for weeks. I was very lucky to find a nice lady one day that wanted to help me. When she came back for me I walked right into the carrier. I was so ready to get out of there and haven’t looked back.
Now starts the next chapter of my life. I get along great with other cats and don’t mind dogs. I am a lover and not a fighter. I have been neutered, up to date on vaccines and have had a full dental cleaning. I was missing a lot of teeth and had to have more pulled, but now I feel great. I can still eat dry food just fine, but love a wet food treat as well. I prefer to be kept indoors where you are. I have had enough outside time to last a life time.
Now all I need is a family of my own now. That is a dream I always had. Please will you help make my dream of a forever family come true? I promise, you will not regret it. I am super special.
