Gilda the Cat needs a home
DOB: 6/20/2003
This gorgeous, lovely girl needs a new home after losing the one she had. Gilda is accustomed to being alone during the day and could be content in a one-cat household.
Gilda was trapped as a kitten while living with a feral group on the edge of a schoolyard. She was not wild, however, and ready to play as soon as released. She had been attacked by some other animal and had deep wounds on her face and neck. With antibiotics she healed completely without scarring. Gilda is a glamour girl as cats go. She knows, it seems, how beautiful she is, and plays the prima donna among the other cats in her foster home. She is a spirited cat—active, alert and curious. She loves to "help" with any house-hold activity underway, especially at the computer, then cuddle on the sofa for TV time.
She was adopted shortly after being rescued, but sadly for her, was returned when her adopter received a job assignment requiring stays in Europe. Gilda was confused and upset at losing what she thought was her forever home. She has regained her composure and is in need of another home where she can feel secure and loved again. She is still a sweet, affectionate cat, and as lovely as ever.
