Mathis the Dog needs a home
A LITTLE LOVE-BUG: 10 years old / 9 lbs. Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. My foster mom says that I’m a little dog with a big heart! I’m sweet, loving and totally enjoy hanging out with my person getting lots of attention. You can see the smile on my face! I walk nicely on my leash occasionally looking back to check on my person, which is so cute, and my potty manners have been very good in my foster home! They weren’t so good at the shelter, likely because there were so many doggie smells there, but my foster mom has been very pleased with my potty manners in her home. I love rope toys and even like to play fetch with them. I didn’t have good dental care in my former home, so a lot of my teeth were already missing. MM’s took me to have the rest of them cleaned and unfortunately most had to be pulled, so I’m eating soft food now, but I don’t mind. I’d like a family member who is home a good bit as it’s lonely spending all day at home by myself, so I hope there’s a family member in my new home who can fit that bill. I love car rides and when I see the car door open I’ll jump right in. I’ve been very good with the kitty in my foster home, except when she comes near my food. That I don’t like. There aren’t dogs in my foster home, so I don’t know how I am with them, we’d just have to meet. I make a bit of noise in my crate initially but do settle down after a little fuss. Energy level: 4-6. Older kids will likely be best for me as I haven’t’ been around kids yet and I am small. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
